A fresh new face is stepping into Indonesia's music scene. At just 14 years old, Amagra is making her debut as a singer-songwriter with her first single, "Masih Rindu" (Still Missing You).
Her introduction to the industry comes under the guidance of Aminoto Kosin, the acclaimed musician and founding member of the legendary band Karimata. Alongside celebrated vocal producer and coach irvnat and business executive Joshua Nafi, the trio launched Ninenote Music, with Amagra becoming the label's very first artist.
Driven by a shared vision, Aminoto and irvnat have always believed that exceptional talent exists beyond television singing competitions. Rather than chasing popularity, they look for artists with authentic vocal character, musicality, and lasting potential. Those qualities led them to Amagra.
With her crystal-clear voice, distinctive tone, and impressive vocal technique, Amagra stood out immediately. Under the careful mentorship of the Ninenote team, her natural talent has been refined while preserving the individuality that makes her unique.
Released digitally in mid-2025, "Masih Rindu" introduces listeners to Amagra through a heartfelt pop ballad. Written by Martinus "Tintin" Layardo, with lyrics by Clara Riva and Amagra herself, the song showcases her emotional delivery against a lush, cinematic arrangement.
Aminoto Kosin served as keyboardist and arranger, joined by some of Indonesia's finest session musicians. irvnat oversaw the vocal production, while sweeping orchestral strings performed by the Budapest Orchestra add depth and elegance to the track.
Beyond her vocal performance, Amagra also co-wrote the lyrics—an early sign that she's committed not only to performing, but to telling her own stories through music.
Her second single, "Bilang Saja" (Just Say It), premiered during her official launch on October 18, 2025.
Once again, the melody was composed by Martinus "Tintin" Layardo together with Amagra, while the lyrics were written by Clara Riva and Amagra. Aminoto Kosin returned as arranger, with irvnat producing the vocals.
If "Masih Rindu" captures heartbreak, "Bilang Saja" reveals another side of Amagra. Bright, playful, and irresistibly danceable, the track channels the carefree energy of youth while telling a relatable story about young love.
The Next Diva?
A student at an international school in Jakarta, Amagra says she's incredibly grateful to Ninenote Music for believing in her and supporting her debut every step of the way.
irvnat—whose full name is Irvan Natadiningrat—has spent years working as a vocal director for many of Indonesia's biggest stars, as well as internationally renowned singers. He believes Amagra possesses the discipline, talent, and emotional sensitivity needed to grow into an exceptional artist.
Joshua Nafi, business director of Ninenote Music, hopes Amagra will one day become Indonesia's next diva, continuing to evolve creatively while pushing herself to reach new heights.
Aminoto Kosin, who first recognized her potential, is equally optimistic. At only 14 years old, he believes Amagra has both the talent and the time to build a remarkable career.
"We Do It the Old Ways"
That philosophy is at the heart of Ninenote.
The label believes great music can't be rushed. Instead of taking shortcuts, Ninenote embraces a meticulous creative process, working with live musicians whenever a song calls for it and placing craftsmanship above speed.
The goal is clear: to grow into a boutique music label with international standards—one that's proudly built in Indonesia.
With Amagra leading the way as its very first artist, that journey has officially begun.
Music is just getting started.
